Hot Form at Marca exhibition: what’s new in 2024
On January 16 and 17, 2024, the 20th edition of Marca by BolognaFiere will take place at the Bologna Fairgrounds. The only exhibition event of the DMO, an acronym for Modern Organized Distribution, Marca by BolognaFiere is an opportunity to touch products, meet buyers and category managers and, for us at Hot Form, an opportunity to present a preview of what’s new in 2024 in food packaging.
Marca by BolognaFiere is, therefore, an important event to learn about new materials, advanced technologies and innovative solutions for food preservation and presentation. In addition, thanks to the meetings and seminars organized during the event, it will be possible to learn more about topics such as environmental sustainability, food safety and industry regulations.

Marca by BolognaFiere: where to discover the latest trends in food packaging
The 20th edition of Marca by BolognaFiere will feature 4 macro exhibition themes divided into Food, Non-food, Marca fresh and Marca Tech sectors.
Food
An important space will be dedicated to the Food division of Marca by BolognaFiere, where the excellence of Made in Italy at the table will be showcased. Bread, pasta, pizza, tomato sauce, meat, poultry and cured meats, cheeses, dressings and desserts are among the main products on display. Hundreds of companies will thus bring tradition and innovation to the exhibition, ready to meet distributors, importers, national and international buyers of Modern Distribution.
Non-food
Great importance will also be given to the Non-food division, dedicated to packaging products, service and logistics. It is precisely in this sector that the Hot Form booth will be present, where new products for 2024 will be previewed.
Marca fresh

The main features of the product
A mix of innovation, functionality and quality, the Tamper Evident food tray is a revolutionary Hot Form patented product. Made entirely of recycled, 100 % recyclable polyethylene terephthalate (PET), Tamper Evident is designed for the storage of dried or dehydrated fruits, grains and other dry products, but is also ideal for products in the fresh counter and served counter.
The product’s distinguishing feature is the sealing tab that allows the lid to remain attached to the body of the tray at all times, even when it is opened, thus preventing it from being dispersed into the environment.
The Tamper Evident tab, in addition to safeguarding the environment, makes the product anti-intrusion, ensuring the integrity of goods on the shelf. In addition, once the tamper-evident seal is removed, the food tray can be opened and closed in a practical and functional way, ensuring optimal product preservation.
