In recent years we specialized in the extrusion of PET. We have a plant with two extruders that satisfy our consumption needs. It is a circular system, a virtuous model for recycling the scraps of production and post consumer that are processed again with the addition of virgin material. A process for enhancing the resources, eliminating the waste.
Our sustainable packaging in
recycled PET and RPET
Hot Form has for many years been committed to producing according to a sustainable circular economy as framed by European Directives. For this reason we have chosen to produce PET sheets, which is a precious material, 100% and infinity recyclable.
Our products comply with Legislative Decree 116 of 3 September 2020 (Environmental Labelling of Packaging), which transposes Directive (EU) 2018/851 on waste and Directive (EU) 2018/852 on packaging and packaging waste to facilitate its disposal, recovery and recycling.
PET 100% recycled
The company is able to supply 100% R-PET FOOD GRADE products, suitable for direct contact with food, thanks to the use of raw materials coming from the decontamination process authorized by the European food safety authority EFSA.
PET 90% recycled
We use 10% virgin PET which in contact with food acts as a “functional barrier” compatible with the requirements of article 13 “Multilayer plastic materials and objects”, paragraphs 2-3-4-5 of Reg.10/2011.
Reusable
The new lines are made of polypropylene (PP) and polystyrene (OPS), 100% recyclable, certified for washing in the dishwasher. Reusable containers make it possible to cut down on waste, thanks to the possibility of using the same product several times, once it has been washed.
100% recyclable
Hot Form food trays are 100% recyclable. With a sustainable commitment, innovative research and development and a dedication to awareness, we are committed to producing cutting-edge solutions, leading the food packaging industry in a greener direction.

For over forty years, Hot Form has significantly invested in renewable energy. This commitment has led to cutting-edge solutions, such as the creation of a new solar system and a gas thermo/energy generator, which contribute to production that respects and preserves the environment.
