Hot Form is taking a major step toward sustainability with the installation of a new photovoltaic system on the roof of its headquarters in Tombolo (PD). The goal: reduce environmental impact while improving energy efficiency, as part of our ongoing ecological transition.
The system integrates seamlessly with the company’s production operations, delivering measurable and long-term benefits. This strategic investment underscores Hot Form’s commitment to a more sustainable, innovative, and self-sufficient industry.
State-of-the-Art Technology
The new installation has a total capacity of 1,070.40 kWp, featuring 2,230 bifacial monocrystalline silicon modules of 480 Wp each. The panels are mounted at a 35° angle on a sturdy anodized aluminum structure, ensuring durability without affecting the roof’s waterproofing. The system is fully compliant with the Transition Plan 5.0.
With an annual production of approximately 1,380,500 kWh, the plant covers a significant portion of the company’s energy needs while contributing to CO₂ emissions reduction. Multiple inverters ensure continuous operation, even in the event of partial failures.
Environmental and Economic Benefits
By generating clean energy, Hot Form will avoid over 1,000 tons of CO₂ emissions annually and save more than 258 tons of oil equivalent (TOE) each year. These figures reflect a tangible step toward a greener future.
A Strong Commitment to Sustainability
This project is part of a broader vision that combines innovation, efficiency, and environmental responsibility, supported by a circular and conscious production cycle. Sustainability is a daily commitment at Hot Form, reflected in our materials, processes, and energy use.
Today, doing business also means caring for the community and offering reliable solutions with real value. The new photovoltaic system is fully aligned with Hot Form’s vision for the environment, our partners, and the future.
We are moving forward with renewable energy, investing in technologies that merge competitiveness and sustainability to create a lasting, positive, and shared impact.
