The study of our customers’ needs in terms of food packaging for the preservation of deli counter products has led to the development of the Sealy line.
The Sealy product family, which can also be used in a modified atmosphere (ATM), includes PP containers, perfect for hot food and microwaveable food, and PET trays, designed for the storage of cold food, such as fresh pasta and meat.
Each item is available in a wide choice of materials and, thanks to in-house production of moulds, can be customised according to customer requirements. Our solutions anticipate market demands, guaranteeing the highest standards of excellence.

Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)
Hot Form is committed to producing according to the sustainable circular economy model, as formulated by European directives. This is why we have chosen to introduce PET, a high-quality material that is 100% recyclable.
The PET trays in the Sealy range are designed to contain cold foods, such as fresh pasta and meat. PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is a thermoplastic resin suitable for food contact, 100% recyclable. It is a synthetic material belonging to the polyester family, made from petroleum, natural gas or vegetable raw materials.

Polypropylene (PP)
The Sealy product line also includes PP containers, which are perfect for hot food and the microwave oven. Polypropylene (PP) is a non-toxic thermoplastic polymer, which ensures that there is no risk of contamination for the health of consumers. This material does not modify or alter the composition of food and does not change its organoleptic characteristics.
Heat sealable polypropylene (PP) containers are ideal for storing food in both the refrigerator and freezer. They can also serve as take-away deli containers, as they are resistant to chemicals and water.
